Are you shining your light? I have to ask myself this question time and time again. Have I made an impact on someones life today? I have decided to be a light to the world no matter how scary it may be. Shining your light (Gods light) can start with such small steps, like today I went up to an older man at my church who was standing alone and I shook his hand and asked him how he was, he looked surprised a good surprised. So much of the time teenagers like us are just going with the flow the world goes with or hiding in our comfort zone we need to get out be a light!


I want grownups to look at me and see something different, I want nonbelievers to look at me and see something different, I don't want to just go through the motions, I want to be a light shining in the darkness.

1 Timothy 4:12

12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

2 Timothy 2:15 ESV 

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

So ask yourself are being the light God wants you to be?
